Re-turn Cans & Bottles

Meals on Wheels Tralee & Killarney operates a Re-turn Bottle and Can scheme to raise essential funds that support our services including in home meal deliveries 52 weeks of the year and a special Free Christmas Day Dinner for the local community. This scheme encourages local businesses and organisations to recycle used bottles and cans featuring the Re-turn logo.

The programme not only helps fund daily meal deliveries to those who require our service but also aligns with sustainable environmental practices by promoting recycling within Tralee and Killarney. By participating in the Re-turn scheme local businesses can contribute to a greener community while ensuring continued support for Meals on Wheels and the annual Christmas dinner which provides a warm meal and companionship for those who might otherwise spend Christmas Day alone.

All registered donors will be visited by us every Wednesday or Friday to collect their donation of Re-turn eligible Bottle and Cans.
