We are volunteer run with part time chefs, drivers & admin staff. We also have generous volunteers who selflessly give up their time to support the service. 

It was established in 1970 in Tralee to provide meals that are freshly cooked and delivered to our clients in Tralee and the surrounding area, 52 weeks of the year.

We have distributed over 75,000 meals since 2020. We currently deliver an average of 20,000 meals annually, while also providing contact with people who live alone who may not have any visitors. We also promote the welfare and well-being of the elderly, vulnerable and people in need. 

In February 2025, We expanded our coverage areas outside of Tralee, and we now also cover Killarney. Along with this expansion we also  launched a community laundry service.
